     I like these garments because they are either a) Can go with anything, or b) Just real perty :3

This is my favorite pair of jean shorts, given that I only own two pairs...

This vest has a really slimming look to it and I wear it at LEAST once a week during the school year :)

This is a really simple shirt but it fits me well and I love the cold shoulder! (not literally of course ;)

Sweethearts of Forever 21

I scrolled through over 700 Forever 21 dresses to find this one:

Mustard, cream, simple, chic, strapless, and a sweetheart neckline? Almost there... An adorable button detail? The Clincher!

DIY: Homemade Lip Gloss!

What's up guys?

Today, when I was surfing the web, I came across a video on YouTube about making your own lip gloss. I thought it was so cool and easy, so I decided to try it out myself! This is how you make it:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Old blushes/ eye shadows

Vaseline/ petroleum jelly 

1 or 2 plastic spoons

 1 disposable bowl/plate

1 container (I used an unused contact lens case)

LET'S GET STARTED!!

1. Take some Vaseline from the container. The amount you take will be 

the amount of lip gloss you end up with.

2. Add blush/ eye shadows as desired

3. Mix thoroughly.

 4. Test it out to see if you like the color.

5. Once you're satisfied, collect all of it on your spoon.

6. Put the finished lip gloss in your container, and TA-DA! It's done!

I made two other shades after and they all turned out extremely well. Also, this is not harmful for your lips because regular store-bought lip gloss contains lot of pigments as well. And... petroleum jelly will always be petroleum jelly. heehee:D

**TIP** If the color isn't showing up on your lips, just add more pigment! You might end up using a lot more than you thought you would. And always start with less blush/ eye shadow and work your way up if you'd like.

The Haul of the Bags!... and other random stuff.

Hey guys!

       Sorry we've been away for a while on summer vacation... I can't believe I haven't blogged for so long! Anyways, the reason why Emily and I haven't been posting is because our families went to Canada together and 'twas awesome! :) After we came back we went right to sleep away camp together for 2 weeks..  I'm not going to do a post on that because I have way too many pictures. ;)But it's amazing we're not sick of each other by now! loll. So that's the update of our summer so far.
       But that's not all I wanted to say for this post! Before I left for camp, I went on a shopping trip to my local mall which, may I add is extremely small, but still has some good finds. While my mom and I were walking through Macy's to get to the actual mall part, we spotted an adorable looking bag and I just had to get it. Those of you who saw my "Summer Stylings" post knew that I wanted a sort of fringey cross body bag, and this is what it looked like!

I also love that it has beads and feathers! It
gives it a sort of boho chic look.

Oh, and the brand is American Rag. :)

          After that, we went to a thrift/consignment shop that I found online, and I spotted a new Vera Bradley backpack that had just come in the day before. I snatched it up and was extremely pleased with myself. :D I needed a new bag for school next year and this was perfect! On top of that, it wasn't terribly expensive especially for such a big brand.

             Also, today I finally got my hair to cooperate and stay in a bun! YAY!!! Because my hair is very stiff and thick, it is very hard to put in a bun, but stays very easily once it is. So, without further ado, I present, THE HAIR BUN!!!!!! :)

What Comes Before Birthday Part-B? :3

BIRTHDAY PART-AY! Duh....(Corny joke courtesy of Denise--Her Blog)
     My birthday was actually on June 7th, but my party was on June 16th :3
And yes, I still throw pretty spunkalicious birthday parties if I do say so myself... ;)

During the school year, my friend Amy (The one who looks like she's banging her head on the table) was quiet and shy up until 4th period, and then there was Flex (which you can think of as a 30-minute study hall). Then she would go completely CRAZY and scream at everybody instead of talking as if she drank 4 cups of espresso... I started to call this dual personality, "Kramy", (Crazy+Amy... Get it? :3) and it just stuck. You can see proof of this in the pictures obviously.

Now we're ALL crazy :P

The big 1-3.

After the candles...

Long ago, (as in like Sophie's 10th birthday party), I tried to make a point of how the other guests ate too slow by finishing my cake first without using any utensils, including my hands. And so a birthday tradition was born. At every following birthday party, we had to eat a whole slice of cake with no forks, spoons, knives, hands, or napkins. But this only occurred at SOPHIE'S birthday parties, so I decided to start the same tradition at my birthday parties, since I was the one who actually though of it :3

Sophie: Proud that she finished her cake first, all while causing minimal damage to her PRECIOUS face ;P Margo came in second :3
